A machine vision technology from Google announced in 2017 for its Android devices. By pointing the Google Lens camera to an everyday item, storefront or product ID, Lens attempts to provide pertinent information about it. First appearing in Google Photos and Google Assistant on Pixel phones, Lens can even retrieve ticket sales and post to the user's calendar for an event by snapping a theater's marquee. See
