Saved searches in earlier versions of Google+. Sparks initially had its own header in the sidebar on the left side of the window. Subsequently, a Sparks tab appeared on regular Google+ searches, allowing the user to save the search, which then showed up in the sidebar. Sparks was removed in 2012. See
