A database machine and storage server from Oracle. Using the Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata was initially designed with HP hardware for data warehousing. Oracle Exadata Cloud offers the database machine as a cloud service. It enables customers to provision up to 32 database servers and 64 storage servers with databases up to 2.5PB. See database machine and InfiniBand.
