A fork of the original Ethereum blockchain that continued to use the proof-of-work (PoW) algorithm after Ethereum switched from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake in 2022. ETHW is the native Ethereum PoW token. Ethereum PoW is more of a competitor to Ethereum Classic than it is to the proof-of-stake Ethereum, which is the canonical chain going forward. See
