Definition: EtherWave
An earlier Ethernet adapter from Farallon Communications, Alameda, CA that allowed up to seven EtherWave-equipped PCs to connect to one port on the hub. Two jacks on the adapter allowed the PCs to be daisy chained together. EtherWave was also a brand name for other Ethernet products from the company, which was acquired by Proxim Inc. in 2000.
