Definition: Essential Phone

Announced in 2017, the Essential Phone was "pure Android" with a 5.7" edge-to-edge screen, titanium case and 128GB of storage. A wireless charging dock was an option. The device accepted add-on functionality by magnetic attachment and was available from the Essential website. In early 2020, the company ceased operations. See pure Android and Android.
