An earlier Android smartphone from Essential Products founded by Andy Rubin, the original developer of the Android operating system. Announced in 2017, the Essential Phone was "pure Android" with a 5.7" edge-to-edge screen, titanium case and 128GB of storage. A wireless charging dock was an option.
