Definition: EV Plug and Charge

The ISO 15118 standard for charging electric vehicles. Used in Europe, Plug and Charge requires a back-end authentication system based on a public key infrastructure (PKI) to authenticate payment and vehicles. See NACS, J1772 and PKI.
