Definition: ECML


(1) (Electronic Commerce Modeling Language) A common set of field names for online order forms. ECML is designed to provide a standard way of transferring shipping, billing and payment information from digital wallets to merchant sites. See digital wallet and Web payment service.

(2) (European Conference on Machine Learning) An annual conference devoted to algorithms used in self-learning systems. ECML is held annually unless the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) is held in Europe that year. See ICML.
