(National Cristina Foundation, Greenwich, CT) A not-for-profit public charity that sought donations of used computers. Founded in 1984 by Yvette Marrin and Bruce McMahan, it was named in honor of McMahan's daughter, Cristina, who had cerebral palsy.
Donations are directed at no charge to organizations and public agencies that have programs that train people with disabilities, students at risk of failing and economically disadvantaged persons in order to lead more productive and independent lives. The Foundation has helped millions of people around the world, and in 2021, it changed its name to Digitunity. See
