A feature of Prime Video that enhances the audio in certain movies and TV series. Introduced in 2023, Dialog Boost increases the volume of the spoken dialog where it deems necessary. The audio is analyzed, and if there is too much background sound, the voice frequencies are boosted. Initially rolling out to a selected handful of content, the feature was designed to eliminate the need for subtitles. See
