A much-anticipated addition to the Android smartphone line from Motorola, the DROID X became available from Verizon in August 2010. It featured a 4.3" touchscreen, MOTOBLUR interface, Swype typing and advanced camera modes. For example, the 8 MP still camera had scene options (portrait, sunset, etc.), and the HD camcorder had microphone modes (narration, outdoors, etc.). DLNA support allowed users to stream videos and photos wireless to their home network. See
