(ConTRoL-F) In a Windows PC, holding down the Ctrl key and pressing the F key opens a search box to search for (find) text. In the Mac, Command-F is the Ctrl-F equivalent.
Ctrl-F vs. Ctrl-G
Ctrl-G (Windows) and Command-G (Mac) may operate in a similar manner to Ctrl-F and Command-F. Depending on the application, Ctrl-G may perform the exact same operation as Ctrl-F, or it may cycle to the next occurrence of the text with each keystroke.
