Queries and reports can be made via a Web browser, and the functionality can also be added to proprietary programs written in languages such as C, C++, J++, Delphi and Visual Basic. Crystal Reports was originally a product from Crystal Decisions (formerly Seagate Software) and was acquired by Business Objects in 2003. It later became part of the SAP BusinessObjects family. See
