Definition: CPW
(1) (Commercial Processing Workload) An IBM metric for system performance. CPW is designed for business applications that have a significant amount of input/output. The IBM CIW (Computational Intensive Workload) is a measurement geared to process bound applications rather than I/O bound.
(2) (Cpw) An open source framework for writing OpenGL applications. Modeled after the OpenGL Utility Library (GLUT), Cpw was written by Jim Mathies.
