Definition: Blocknative

A Web3 data platform that provides real-time access to new crypto transactions for miners, wallets and decentralized apps (dApps). Blocknative's Transaction Distribution Network (TDN) injects transactions into Ethereum nodes around the world so that more validators can place them in their holding pools (mempools) and more miners can see them. TDN also routes around network congestion.

For Ethereum and similar networks, Blocknative provides a marketplace of "block builders," separating the block formation activities from the miner-proposer. See mempool and Ethereum 2.0.

A Whole New Business
Blocknative is all about maximizing transaction value from mempools, which hold transactions for miners to grab and form blocks. (Image courtesy of Blocknative.)
