A digital currency proposed by cryptography pioneer Nick Szabo in the late 1990s that contained the peer-to-peer network, ledger, mining and cryptography concepts later built into Bitcoin. From time to time, Nick Szabo is said to be the "real" Satoshi Nakamoto, whose identity remains a mystery. See
