Definition: Apple Home Key

Apple's door lock feature that is part of its HomeKit automation control. Using an iPhone or Apple Watch, a door can be locked or unlocked with the door lock's app. Apple Home Key was introduced with iOS 15. See Apple HomeKit and home button.
