Definition: ASCIIbetical

(ASCII alphaBETICAL) In order of the ASCII character set. As evident in the chart below, upper case letters are grouped separately from lower case, and special characters are located before, in between and after the letters. If lists in a digital file are maintained in ASCIIbetical order, they have to be converted into alphabetic order for printing, which means that upper and lower case letters are treated as equals.
