Definition: AI psychosis

A phenomenon when using AI chatbots. Arising in the mid-2020s, AI psychosis is delusional thinking after long interactions with AI chatbots. Various lawsuits claim that, like social media, all chatbots are designed to keep the user engaged as much as possible without regard to potential harmful effects. In some cases, this interaction has caused unrealistic thinking leading to emotional and physical harm for the user. See also AI anxiety.
