An AI scam that already has people worried is the capability of emulating a person's voice perfectly by capturing only a few spoken words. Imagine the reaction someone might have upon hearing their child or spouse pleading for money over the phone to get them out of a jam and avoid a catastrophe, and there seems to be no doubt whom the person is.
