An artificial intelligence (AI) system that has been trained with varying amounts of predefined or undefined examples. In AI parlance, a model is the same as the design of a traditional software application, except that the "program logic" in AI models is very different from regular business programs. See

AI software primarily recognizes patterns, and it provides results based on having previously reviewed many examples of the topic (voice, images, text, etc.). AI models use neural network architectures to learn and produce results. See
