Definition: 6x86

An earlier Pentium-class CPU chip from Cyrix that was available in a variety of clock speeds. The 100 MHz 6x86 was similar in power to a 133 MHz Pentium chip. IBM produced the 6x86 for Cyrix and also sold and used the chip.
