Definition: face filter
A computer vision function that often uses AI to detect a face in an image. When the face is isolated, the application can make the person older or younger. Once the face is detected, the AI can derive the outline of the body in order to place the person into a different environment as in the example below. See AI glossary.

This example uses a face filter to locate the face to determine where to begin. From a picture of the woman in her 20s, ChatGPT added sixty years to her age and placed her in a totally made-up environment for her 84th birthday.
