A digital video recorder (DVR) service from Microsoft that adds digital video recording to the DIRECTV satellite service. In 2002, Microsoft discontinued further enhancements to the product. However, in 2007, a service update was made available to existing subscribers via an automatic satellite download. The update was necessary to maintain programming compatibility with DIRECTV. See
