Definition: Snooze

A "Remind Me Later" feature in Gmail, Outlook and other email services that removes a message and brings it back at a prescribed date and time. Although people can keep their email in their inboxes, messages get moved lower and lower each day as new ones arrive, and in today's environment that means hundreds of generally unwanted messages can arrive every week and even every day. Snooze brings the message back at the top of the list so it can get the user's attention.
