An Amazon company that makes home security systems. Founded in 2013 as Doorbot by Jamie Siminoff, it was renamed a year later to highlight the Ring Video doorbell, which has a camera and motion sensor and connects to the Ring security service. In 2018, it was acquired by Amazon.
